GETTING TO WORK .. MEANS GETTING CONNECTED

Your ambitions are high! But, you're short on experience, contacts, industry know-how … and you may not have a lot of money to run around looking for work. So, how do you succeed? There is a two part answer. First, build your credentials. If you're accepted to a creative program at the School … filmmaking, animation, digital arts … your portfolio is your tool for moving forward.

Next, let the right people know about your achievements. This means being proactive about you and your accomplishments … both in quality of contacts and quantity of contacts. The School offers instruction on building peer contacts of value. Add to this hard work, and your chances for success may be effectively improved. Don't forget to ask Professional Services for one-on-one advice and assistance as an active student or graduate.
