The new age of audio is here. It is filled with extremes in terms of quality, speed of production and expanded uses. No film, no television broadcast, no DVD is anything without the touch of the digital audio production masters. They work in surround sound at higher than ever specs using gear that is more sophisticated than ever before.The School of Communication Arts has created a DIGITAL AUDIO PRODUCTION program that raises the bar to a new high. The program is as real as 96kHz audio is today. The idea here is to go beyond the usual to embrace those who really understand the new golden age of audio. This is the age that includes:
+ Delivering surround sound over single network cables and not monster-like cables.
+ Embracing 96 kHz high end signal paths.
+ Shrinking the console down so that the engineer can remain at the “center” sweet spot of the sound.
+ Providing HD sound to go with the new High Definition filmmaking process.
