Q: Is there any special focus I should take in my home schooling studies in preparation for enrollment at the School?

A: If you plan to be considered for the Digital Filmmaking, Animation, Internet Development and Digital Media Arts series of programs, you will want to consider strong attention to the following courses of study leading up to admission to the School:

English and/or English Composition has a wonderful value as an option for those who wish to direct or create film, video, e-commerce solutions for the Internet. Becoming a writer of ideas and expression may eventually separate you from the crowd of usual artists, photographers, camera persons, illustrators, etc.

Art and related courses are always valuable if you plan to head toward the creative disciplines at the School. However, art direction and graphic design take the lead in preparing one for advanced positions in digital imaging. Most programs at the School add to art direction and design development.
